Former Board Chair recognised as a MFAA Fellow

In recognition of her experience and significant contribution to the mortgage and finance broking industry, Rose De Rossi has been bestowed the Fellow of the MFAA designation by the MFAA Board.

Rose, a multi-award-winning finance broker, was elected to the MFAA Board in 2017, serving as Deputy Chair from 2019–2021 and as Chair from 2021–2022.

Rose’s career in finance began in 1985, working in various management and lending roles with a bank. In 1999, she became a finance broker with Choice Home Loans, before rebranding her business to Diversifi Pty Ltd with her co-director, Tracey Lea Gilbert, also a Fellow of the MFAA.

Rose said she feels honoured to be recognised as a Fellow of the MFAA.

“This achievement recognises the many years of promotion and support I have provided for the finance industry. I hope to be seen as a role model for those brokers looking to further their careers in this rewarding industry,” she said.

One of four Esteemed Member designations, Fellow of the MFAA (FMFAA) recognises MFAA members who hold senior positions, are highly experienced in the mortgage and finance industry and have also made a significant contribution to the development of the industry in Australia.

There are also Esteemed Member categories of Associate, Life and Honorary Members.

The Associate of the MFAA (AMFAA) designation recognises MFAA members who have attained a high level of professional standing within the mortgage and finance broking industry.

Life Membership may be bestowed on MFAA members who have voluntarily given extensive and meritorious service to the Association. Honorary Membership may be bestowed upon any person not eligible to be an MFAA Member who has given extensive and meritorious service to the Association. Life and Honorary Memberships are approved at the absolute discretion of the MFAA Board.
