Receiving Government financial support to help in staffing your business.
Did you know that if you are looking to develop new staff in your business you may be eligible to receive funding from the Government to supplement your employment costs or training fees?
The MFAA has worked with Australian Skill & Assessment Centre (ASAC) to review the incentives and conditions required to achieve Government funding in taking on trainees in your business. We understand that the landscape may be complicated.
The MFAA has made available a report to assist your organisation in creating the right environment to support and develop talent for your business.
We will update this report on a regular basis to reflect any updates on Federal and State financial support programs. The report can be downloaded via My Resources.
Fiona Fitzpatrick, ASAC Director can provide support for your organisation as a paid service. This can be either as an assessment of your business' suitability for Federal and State financial support programs at $250 for one hour, or to help you develop a bespoke framework with your management team (price upon application).
The MFAA recommends that before considering a paid consultation that you read the report and determine your business' suitability to achieve the various forms of funding by considering the application criteria and ongoing conditions of funding. As the MFAA does not provide this service you are entering into an agreement with a third-party service provider that may deliver feedback that your individual circumstances do not meet the government criteria. Consider that this fee is not refundable.
Disclaimer: All decisions on funding are the sole responsibility of the individual government body responsible for the funding. The MFAA commissioned report by ASAC is a guideline only to assist members to navigate the requirements at application or ongoing delivery of the program. The MFAA holds no responsibility or liability for any outcomes.
