Following the success of our consumer campaign in May and June, the Mortgage & Finance Association are running the campaign again, as the property market begins to pick up steam.
The campaign highlights the benefits and importance of using an MFAA accredited mortgage broker to homebuyers and will run across Meta (Facebook, Instagram) from Wednesday 27 September for three weeks. Importantly, MFAA members can get involved and promote their business at the same time.
“With recent pauses in the cash rate, reports show that more buyers are entering the market. We’re reviving this consumer campaign to highlight the value mortgage brokers offer, so those looking for a home loan know their options,” said MFAA CEO Anja Pannek.
“We also want to spread the message on the mortgage broker value proposition – that is the choice and competition they bring to the home lending market – to the many Australians yet to come off their low fixed rates who will be considering their refinancing options.”
When the campaign was first run for four weeks in May and June, it reached over 900,000 people across the country and achieved 2.7 million impressions – the number of times the campaign was seen in consumers’ social media feeds.
The campaign directed consumers to the ‘Find a broker’ tool on the MFAA’s consumer website, Mortgage and Finance Help, where they can search for an MFAA accredited mortgage broker in their area. The website received 8,000 additional visits during the initial campaign period.
MFAA members can be part of the campaign
The MFAA regularly produces resources for its members to help them promote the services they offer to clients, including resources brokers can use that complement this campaign.
“We’ve also produced a toolkit for our members, with images and wording they can use to help promote the services and value they offer, show clients they belong to the industry’s leading association and help the campaign reach even more Australian home buyers,” said Ms Pannek.
“I encourage all our members to get involved, the materials are designed to have messages that will remain relevant well beyond the campaign period, by using them on their social media pages our members can help keep the momentum of the campaign.”
MFAA members can download the toolkit for free from the MFAA member portal.
