MFAA Excellence Awards

The Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) Excellence Awards are presented to members of the association who display exceptional practice in mortgage and finance. The awards encourage members of the industry to constantly improve and strive for excellence. They recognise individuals and organisations that help the industry evolve through best practice and innovation.

The MFAA Excellence Awards are the only mortgage industry awards managed by an external awards convenor, setting the industry benchmark.

This year, there will be no nomination process, and the submissions will be replaced by the introduction of a new streamlined process.

There were five new MFAA Excellence Awards categories introduced in 2016 that recognises young professionals, newcomers, administrators, customer service and community championship.

With 15 MFAA Excellence Awards in total, there are plenty of opportunities to be recognised both as an individual and as a company for excellence in our industry.

The awards were won by finance brokers across the country, with both finance and mortgage advisers represented among the 15 national winners.

The awards are judged and audited by an independent panel of industry experts.

Over the last 14 years the awards have played a key role in lifting the standards of service and professionalism in Australia’s mortgage and finance industry, with the support of Major Sponsor, Commonwealth Bank of Australia. This year other leading industry companies also showed their support in the form of award sponsorship: AFG, ANZ, Genworth, La Trobe Financial, LIXI, Loan Market, Macquarie Bank, My Local Broker, NAB, Suncorp Bank, Teachers Mutual Bank and QBE.
