MFAA 2010 Consumer Campaign
We are launching a new campaign designed to establish you, our members, as brokers to be sought out by consumers; operating at the highest level of ethics, education and professionalism - the quality benchmark to which all others aspire.
From now on the MFAA logo will be seen as a badge of excellence: excellence in ethics, education and professional standards. And we mean that in the most literal way. We are changing the promotional logo that you all use to make it a true “stamp of approval”, a certification, a badge of quality.
Without this stamp consumers will feel they are taking a risk, with this stamp consumers will understand they are with a broker they can trust as the best in the business.
Every time you use this stamp, on your windows, doors, business cards, websites and cars, you make a powerful and differentiated statement that you pass the highest standards in the industry. And the more you use the stamp, the more advantage it will deliver.
Starting in June we will launch an extensive advertising campaign explaining what the MFAA stands for and why borrowers should insist on an MFAA approved broker, like you. The new ‘stamp of approval' will be featured in this campaign and on www.mfaa.com.au, so we encourage you to make the most of this opportunity and to get your branding up as soon as possible.
Goal of the campaign
Research shows that when it comes to borrowing, consumers want the guidance of someone they can trust. However, many remain unaware that MFAA members have the education, experience and ethics they’re seeking.
The goal of the 2010 consumer campaign is to make MFAA the most sought after credential in broking.
The campaign – "Insist on an MFAA Approved Broker"
The message of the campaign is refreshingly simple, practical and powerful: Before you sign anything, you should insist you have an MFAA approved broker working for you, it is the only way to ensure you are getting advice you can trust.
The creative hook of the advertising is the ‘Sign Here' sticker, a consistent and timely reminder that no matter how excited buyers are about securing their new home or asset, there will be a loan contract to sign and a price to pay.
As you can see, we are not going for soft and fluffy, we're going for powerful, direct, practical and leadership.

MFAA Consumer Campaign: Update
Thank you to the many members who have called and emailed us with their positive and constructive feedback about this campaign, the kit and the logo. In the coming weeks we will be able to report on the consumers' response to this campaign.
Have you or your clients seen the campaign? We'd like to hear from you. Why not email info@mfaa.com.au?
USB stick
For those of you who have experienced challenges with their USB stick please remember that it was designed to be an 'easy to carry' tool to give to print shops or graphic designers to make it easier to get your stationery printed. It is in a file format that they will easily understand (although it may look like gobbledi gook to you). There have been a small number of cases where the data contained within has been corrupted and for that we do apologise.
Logo available on the website
For those of you who wish to simply add the logo to their autosignature or website as many of you already have, all you need to do is go to www.mfaa.com.au log into the Member Centre > Member Tools & Resources and find the link to Logos and Stamp.
Sign Here stickers
Many members have emailed or phoned us requesting additional copies of the SIGN HERE stickers from their Campaign Kit. Glad you have found them useful! It is our intention to make additional packs available for purchase. We will update you as soon as they arrive.
