Public Access to Guidelines
Public Access to Guidelines
To demonstrate the higher standards required of MFAA members than those provided under the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 and relevant other legislation and regulation, the MFAA has developed a long-standing Code of Practice, Disciplinary Rules and other governance guidelines to assure consumers they can have confidence when dealing with an MFAA member. These documents are available here:
- Constitution
- Code of Practice
- Disciplinary Rules
- Internal Dispute Resolution Procedures
- Advertising Guidelines
- Code on Alternative Forms of Remuneration
Breaches of these principles will be dealt with through the MFAA disciplinary rules. In severe cases members can be expelled from the Association.
