Not Seeking Compensation
If your complaint remains unresolved after going through the member's internal dispute resolution procedures, you can refer the matter to the MFAA for investigation if you are not seeking monetary compensation.
MFAA Disciplinary Rules
The MFAA has a set of Disciplinary Rules to deal with complaints of alleged misconduct against an MFAA member. These include:
- External Investigating Officer
- MFAA Tribunal
Under the Disciplinary Rules, once a complaint of alleged misconduct has been investigated by the Investigating Officer the complaint may then be referred to the Tribunal. The MFAA Tribunal has the power to impose various sanctions on a member for misconduct, including expulsion from membership of the MFAA.
